About Dr. Butler

Stacy Butler, MD is committed to caring for her patients in a comprehensive and compassionate fashion including addressing their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. She believes strongly in ensuring the understanding of disease process and diagnosis with her patients so that meaningful collaboration for a plan can be made with her patients. Dr. Butler finds great joy in having a personalized relationship with her patients. She believes that this personalized care allows her to more fully address the concerns of reproductive health for patients at all stages in life from adolescence through menopause and all the important stages in between. Dr. Butler wants to get to know you well enough to understand your goals of care and do all that she can to safely reach those goals for you. Dr. Butler has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery, she has robotic and laparoscopic training that prepares her to meet your surgical needs. A brief list of what Dr. Butler offers:

-Well woman and annual exams including pap smears and sexually transmitted infection counseling and testing

-Comprehensive contraception counseling and treatment including short and long-term options

-Minimally invasive surgical approaches including Davinci Robotic and laparoscopic surgery

-Pelvic pain and fibroids

-Abnormal and irregular bleeding

-Menopause and post-menopausal care including incontinence

-Adolescent care

-Obstetric Care

-LGBT Care 

-Fully bilingual in Spanish

Dr. Butler grew up in Gresham, Oregon and is delighted to be caring for the community that raised her. She is a true Oregonian and is therefore very happy on a rainy Portland day drinking coffee and reading a good book. In her free time she enjoys hiking, jogging, yoga, and gardening. 

Dr. Butler studied Spanish and History as her undergraduate majors at Walla Walla College in Washington. She studied medicine at Loma Linda University in Southern California. Dr. Butler completed her training in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Chicago, Illinois at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. She's very happy to come home and with her education and training to care for the patients of Gresham and the greater Portland area.
